The Language Resource Center provides the following services:

• 1. Networked Teaching Lab for group instruction

• 2. Drop-in Macintosh and PC Computer Labs for independent instruction

• 4. Fully equipped Video Viewing Rooms for small group work

• 5. Full Internet access to every station including locally served digitized audio and video

• 6. Access to cable and satellite feed (e.g.: CUtv and SCOLA 1,2, & 3)

• 7. Videoconferencing and Web conferencing facilities for distance learning

• 8. Authoring facilities for both the PC and Macintosh platforms

• 9. Audio and Video production services

• 10. Independent web, audio, and video servers

• 11. Format conversion of audio and video tapes including Analog to Digital conversion

• 12. Duplication of audio and video tapes

• 13. Staff assistance for multimedia content creation

• 14. Equipment loan

• 15. Taping and broadcasting of classroom activities, special lectures, or training workshops
