SUMMARY:LRC Working Group on AI
DESCRIPTION:The LRC welcomes you to our first Working Group meeting on AI. This semester\, our focus turns to classroom policy toward AI. For our inaugural meeting\, we are excited to welcome Professor Barbara Spinelli from the Department of Italian. \nHosted both in-person at the LRC and online\, Professor Spinelli will discuss the AI policy she implements for student writing. She will review how she introduces this policy to foster reflection on the ethical use of generative AI technologies among her students. She will share insights from her experiences last semester\, outline any adjustments made to the policy for the current term\, and elucidate the rationale behind these changes. \nThis session promises to be a useful exploration of AI technologies in academic settings\, and we encourage all members of our community to join us in person\, here at the LRC\, or virtually\, on Zoom (Meeting ID#: 8472087081).
